Ingredients:
3-4 lb Ledingham Livestock chuck roast (or any preferred roast)
1-2 cups beef broth
Salt, to taste
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Prepare the roast
Thaw the roast completely if frozen. Pat it dry with paper towels.
Season generously on all sides with salt and black pepper.
Cook in the crockpot
Place the roast in the slow cooker.
Pour 1-2 cups of beef broth around the roast.
Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours, or until the roast is fork-tender.
Serve and customize
Shred the tender roast with a fork and serve with your favorite flavors:
BBQ Sauce – for sandwiches or sliders.
Tacos – season with cumin, chili powder, and a squeeze of lime.
Classic Pot Roast – pair with roasted vegetables and gravy.
